Creating for a Cause

As an arts advocate I believe in the impact of arts education. Since 2016 I have participated in California Center of the Arts fundraiser, Dancing with Our Stars. This annual fundraiser helps to fund the arts education and outreach programs at the center. As a participant I am paired with a local star, choreograph a routine for us to perform, and coach them from the studio to the stage. It is such a rewarding experience! I get to create for a cause and teach someone how to dance at the same time!
All my work with DWOS is through volunteering my time and services. We do receive a stipend but that only covers the purchase of a new costume or props.
Are you an arts advocate? Would you like to support the work that I do with the California Center for the Arts to raise money for arts education and outreach programs?
Consider donating to help me cover the production costs that go into participating in this annual event!
