I am fascinated with the art of storytelling. As an interdisciplinary artist I incorporate a variety of artistic mediums in my work; dance, theatre, music and film. My work explores the intersections of culture, identity, spirituality and social justice. Storytelling is our birthright. Stories capture moments and shed light on the human experience.I believe it is a resilience practice that has helped me process my experiences and cope. One of my earliest and favorite memories as a child was listening to my father tell stories of his childhood. That is when I developed a love for the art of storytelling.
Art isn’t good or bad. It exists. I believe creative expression is a form of communication that universally connects us to the human condition. We all have stories to tell and movement is the primary medium I use to create narratives. I am passionate about sharing my creative process because I believe art is a learned skill. It is a way for us to explore, investigate, and heal collectively. As a social conscious artist, I am dedicated to showcasing work that serves to initiate conversation. I believe social change starts from within. Art is a form of activism and I use my work to protest injustice, proclaim life’s gifts and provide for my community.

In 2021 I opened up my own private training studio, Continuum Arts & Pilates. My business combines all my passions and gives me the freedom and flexibility to continue to pursue a performing artist career. I offer a variety of services, from private lessons to guest performances.

I grew up immersed in the arts and my work is influenced by my diverse training in dance, music and theatre. I received my B.F.A in Performance, Choreography and Certification in Arts Management from the University of California, Irvine.
Professionally I have worked with: Disneyland Resort, Entity Contemporary Dance Company, IsadoraNOW, Visionary Dance Theatre, Disco Riot, Maraya Performing Arts. and PGK Dance Project. While dancing for Disneyland Resort, I performed with Demi Lovato, Anika Noni Rose, and Cheryl Burke. I've recently focused on pursuing a musical theatre career and worked with with La Jolla Playhouse, Cygnet Theater, New Village Arts, Teatro San Diego, San Diego Musical Theatre, Oceanside Theater Company, and Temecula Theater Project.

Creativity is a tool and I believe the ability to express one’s self and relate to others. It is a skill that can be very valuable in various professions and social experiences.
As an arts advocate I educate people on why art matters. I partner with arts organizations as a guest artist and host performances, events, and workshops.
As a teacher I train young dancers and adults with fitness goals how to use their bodies physically and creatively. I use the pilates method to improve body awareness and prevent injury. I use choreography to enhance a dancers performance skills.

I am co-founder of arts & wellness collective, Soultry Sisters. As a leader, I provide opportunities to connect, create and celebrate as a community. I use my platform to create a safe place for people to learn, grow and creatively express themselves.

Professional development and project funding for artists can get overlooked and sometimes the resources aren't as accessible to independent artists.
In 2018, I received a mentorship grant through the William Male Foundation. I was able to concentrate and dedicate time to train in voice and acting as I auditioned and pursued musical theatre.
The William Male Foundation believes in giving support directly to artists who are connected to the San Diego community and looking to professionally develop and diversify their skill set.
I am now a member of the selection committee. I enjoy advocating for the arts and helping other San Diego artists grow and thrive.
The William Male Foundation awards grants twice a year.
