"Not Everyone can be famous. But everybody can be great, because greatness is determined by service" - Martin Luther King
My name is Alyssa Junious and I am a San Diego based arts and wellness advocate. As a social conscious artist, I am dedicated to creating work that inspires change and initiates conversation. I am the founder of Continuum Arts Project and choreograph throughout Southern California. I also perform professionally with local dance and theatre companies.  I am fascinated with the moving body and train dancers, athletes and fitness enthusiast using the pilates method. As co-founder of Soultry Sisters, an arts and wellness collective, I empower women to lead creative and confident lives.

Donate & Support!

Supporting a Black women artist is a form of protest

I am an independent artist and most of my work is self funded. I am passionate about creating work in my community. Oceanside is my hometown and I want to be the first professional performance company in North County led by a Black and Filipino woman. Oceanside is a diverse and multi-cultural city and I want to create programs, performances, and events that reflect my community.  Your donation and support will help me reach that goal. You can choose to donate a one time or monthly pledge.

Upcoming Events

Due to the most recent COVID-19 mandate, all group gatherings have to stop for the next three weeks. That includes our Pilates in the Park classes.

I've decided to take this as an opportunity to expand and offer a virtual pilates class for the rest of December. Now there is some good news... The mandate states you can still go to outdoor recreational facilities like parks with your household. I invite you to find a safe outdoor space to join me next week as we continue our community care practice of pilates. I believe movement is medicine and it is important that we continue to take care of ourselves and support one another.
