My name is Alyssa Junious and I am a San Diego based arts and wellness advocate. As a social conscious artist, I am dedicated to creating work that inspires change and initiates conversation. I am the founder of Continuum Arts & Pilates and I teach, perform and choreograph throughout Southern California. I am fascinated with the moving body and train dancers, athletes and fitness enthusiast at my private studio in Oceanside, California. As co-founder of Soultry Sisters, an arts and wellness collective, I empower women to lead creative and confident lives.

I am an independent artist and most of my work isn't fully funded. I am passionate about creating work in my community. Oceanside is my hometown and I want to hold space for BIPOC folks to feel seen, supported and celebrated. Why? Because representation matters and it's important to have BIPOC leaders in arts and culture community organizations. Oceanside is a diverse and multi-cultural city and I want to create programs, performances, and events that reflect the arts and culture of my community.
